I love my husband for many reasons, but right now I love him a little more for this...
It seems like I can never get to the bottom of the mountain of laundry
in this house. If I don't keep up with it during the week, which I
don't, then I need to be doing it 24/7 on the weekend.
And even if I do get to the point where every single hamper is
completely empty (miracle of all miracles)...it only lasts for a few hours before they are filled
again! Funny how that works! :-)
So, I may have mentioned a time or two that laundry is slightly time consuming and I wish there were some little ways that the kiddos could help and actually have fun doing it!
Well, that's all it took. When my hubby heard that, he went and bought 2 laundry baskets, drilled holes into them
and attached a rope to a bar so that the children could pull their
"horses" to their bedrooms.
And then the kiddos actually put their own laundry away! Yes, it was messy and everything didn't go exactly where it should have. But, begger's can't be choosers :-) and it was awesome to have their help!
It also helps to remember the saying, "piles of laundry means that your blessings are close by."
So, you can actually be thankful while you fold, seriously, it helps! Try it! Anything is worth a try when you need some motivation to tackle piles and piles of laundry.
At least there are cute baby clothes tucked into those piles...I love seeing pink ruffles on baby bottoms!!

You're right! I wish I had piles and piles of baby/kid clothes. (Remind me that I said this when I do.)
What a good way to involve little helpers! Go Brad!
